Just watched: Let the Right One In. I have chills. Fantastic movie.

Recently watched:

- This is Spinal Tap for the tenth time or so
- Kurosawa's Rashomon
- Leon: The Professional (again)
- Finished watching all 4 seasons of Home Movies (hilarious show, sucks that they stopped making new seasons)

Pandorum - Nice little sci-fi suspense thriller. Really enjoyed it.

Have been going to the cinema a lot lately actually

The Tourist - Sucked
Hereafter - A bit slow, but the acting was good at least. OK movie
The Green Hornet 3D - Stupid, but fun and with enough action.

True Grit.

Well. Despite the hype I don't see why this is considered so fucking amazing. Could be because of my unrealistically high expectations. This movie was just good. Not great.

The Sting - Still amazing. One of my favorite Redford's.

The Matrix was just on tv. It's aged remarkably well despite being what, twelve years old now?

Black Swan

Pretty awesome. Aronofsky is rising to the top of my favorite directors list with every movie he does.

The Social Network.

I was not expecting any less from Fincher but come on! 10 Oscar nominations? Give me a break. This is a good movie with good acting and music but really, the story is simply not that interesting.

The oscars are a joke and everyone knows it, but somehow I can't stop myself from throwing a rage fit every year it happens.

Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy respectively. If Hardy pulls another Bronson act it'll be awesome.

I know, right? Where's Riddler? Penguin? Christ, even Killer Croc would be better than what is basically a glorified mexican wrestler.

Bane has potential, in the later comics he developed into a more cerebral character, and he's the only villain who ever actually managed to defeat Batman by breaking his back. With a Bronson type Bane, it might be awesome.
Although I was hoping for Johnny Depp as the Riddler.

yeah, Bane is pretty cool imo. it's the assholes behind Batman & Robin who fucked it all up.

With these questionable choices for villains it is almost certain that the new movie will not be mindblowing like The Dark Knight. But I'm expecting it to be good nonetheless.

I'm sure Tom Hardy will rule as Bane. Great choice there. But Anne Hathaway? Really? She has been nothing more than a pair of tits in her movies. Wtf is Nolan thinking?

Considering this will be the last movie of the franchise (at least with Nolan) these are some very odd choices.
