According to a post from yesterday on their facebook, Vektor hit the studio in 5 days.

Gotta be my most anticipated of 2011.

Yeah, High Gold was a pretty sick track. I like how they're doing more Krallice worship than some of the earlier stuff they've done.

I like this more than anything I've heard from Krallice. So cool..
Well, their last album was kinda noisy where this is very much black metal.

And do you like Krallice? I figured you would dig them liking WITTR and Weakling.

That 'High Gold' track is black metal? Our definitions vary.
But I still love you.

Prediction - everyone but me will hate the new Haunted. One part Tool, one part modern rocking catchiness, from the little I've heard.

new Sarke album. Wow! I figured the Sarke / Nocturno Culto colaberation was just a one time deal. I felt like I needed a shower after hearing songs like 'The Drunken Priest' and 'Frost Junkie'. Can't wait.

SARKE, the Norwegian band featuring Sarke (real name: Thomas Bergli; KHOLD, TULUS, OLD MAN'S CHILD, SENSA ANIMA) and Nocturno Culto (DARKTHRONE), will release its sophomore album, "Oldarhian", on April 15 via Indie Recordings.

On "Oldarhian" SARKE is still inspired by the great rock bands from the '70s, the death and thrash metal of the '80s, and the '90s black metal. The CD was recorded in Oslo at H-10 Productions the old-fashioned way, and continues the formula from the debut album: dark, epic and groovy.

Commented Sarke: "Our music is inspired by the great '70s rock bands, '80s speed metal bands and '90s black metal bands. Put this together with the creative mind of the band and your get pure dark rock music sounding is clear, raw and honest."

Added Nocturno Culto: "What an album! We can now act like six real rock stars and attention-seeking brats."

Hopefully the Scar Symmetry album will be an improvement over its predecessor.

So far, I have not seen anything interesting for 2011.

So it'll be a year of back catalogue collecting.

They're recording now. They still keep posting things on Facebook. One pic so far. They said they'll upload videos as well before too long.

Sorry, of course am looking forwards to that. /\ Great band.

In other news-

New song out, sounds like a cross between the previous one and Spheres, so looking forwards.

Nice, looking forwards to some new Pestilence. I think you may have been a tad harsh on their last one btw, that was a true grower imo.

I want my new Morbid angel >.< also allot of these new albums are looking promising. I just hope this year is better then the last, not saying 2010 was a complete epic fail because there was allot of good albums but for the most part disappointing .
