I need to listen to this, I really like their last album. Haven't heard their debut. Nice review as usual.

Lots of good songs, you should dig it.

Funny old situation, me turning into a power metal reviewer. Not much hope of competing with the black metal crew any more, they've got the dark arts pretty much sewn up, and Charles does a much better job of highlighting obscurities than I ever did. I'll still keep mixing it up, as is my want, but I still want this site to appeal to as wide a metal audience as ever and will try and work towards that.

I forgot about these guys. I'll have to get my hands on this.

By the way, is it just me or does this sound exactly like Kakko from Sonata Arctica?

More like the fellow from Kamelot, if you ask me.

*needs to check out recent SA again*

Fallen Sanctuary is a great album. I'll definitely be giving this one a listen soon.

I think he sounds like a dead ringer for Kakko.

Nah he doesn't sound anything like Khan.

Will get this eventually have their others and was impressed enough but not totally blown away. I have found myself purchasing less new music as those killer releases offering something different seem to be getting harder to find. Instead I am having more fun discovering older bands I have missed.

This guy sounds exactly like Kakko with slightly worse english. Have to check this one out. Fallen Sanctuary was great.

I don't really hear Kakko in his voice at all. Two different approaches. I don't think this guy even sings in "Falsetto" and Kakko's "loud voice" always sounds like "falsetto."

I never got around to listening to the second album, so I need to catch up.

They are a terrific band. Their first album was easily one of the best of that year.

I liked it very much.

I listened to the second album when the history channel was on discussing corrosion, which was weird, so I put on this one after a couple tracks because it was getting to me. Then naturally the special about the Tunguska fireball came on.

This album made me feel uneasy. It really transported me somewhere else and that is a really good sign. I felt uneasy, so it must have struck a nerve.
