Misfits>Samhain>Danzig...
Indeed, where is the Danzig?
While I am here I will reiterate my request: VENOM - Black fuckung Metal!
The absence of this classic is becoming scandalous...

what about a Saxon album? none of their albums have been quoted below 94 on this site. if that doesn't say anything about them, what does?[/code]

How about taking some out? I see a lot of people's personal faves that aren't really classics.

I am dying to see a review of King Crimson's "Red"

Every album by these guys is a classic, but this is the one that invented progressive metal. The title track is one of the coolest songs ever written.

Also,

Napalm Death - Scum
Judas Priest - Stained Class
Atheist - Unquestionable Presence
Cryptopsy - None So Vile
Suffocation - Effigy/Pierced
Kreator - Pleasure to Kill
Cynic - Focus
Carcass - Necroticism
Sodom - Agent Orange

Rather than make more suggestions, I'll just second a couple of Cripy's recommendations.

King Crimson-Red (one of the finest prog-rock albums I have heard, and also one of the heaviest)

Suffocation-Pierced from Within
Cryptopsy-None So Vile
Carcass-Necro
