I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would defend this album. This goes way beyond personal opinion...and into the realm of stupidity. Even a retard can recognize bad music....but it takes an extra special retard to actually enjoy bad music.

I don't have this album yet, but you will be the first to know how I like it once I get it.

so you see here lies the paradox, because Scepter of Deception was an excellent album and if this is better then how does it deserve a 58, it just makes no sense, that is why you were not the right person to review this album. Or did you just totally discredit 3 reviewers who scored Scepter of Deception 94, 78 and 95?

NOTE TO WiC: I don't have a problem with you disagreeing with a review, I have a problem with you rampantly insulting absolutely everyone and everything all the time. There's no need to be so abrasive.

Also, it's impossible to judge an album from 2 songs and a few samples, what an album will sound like. It's likely that you could take most any album (minus the obvous exceptions, of course) and make it sound good via a bunch of samples.

The only reason I gave this album a 100 is because of some faggots like you that on purpose gave it low scores because you have shit for brains. I gave that album a low score because you were so vicariously defending it without barely having heard it and attacking the reviewer with no real justification. Basically, I gave it a low score because you drove me to it.

I'd change the score to a 49 now, but it's too late for that.

This is the last post I'm going to make on this thread and I feel like I lowered myself with each consecutive post up until now.

Winter, show me, with illustrious details and examples, of how this review is "unfair." Last I checked I explained in full what was lacking in this particular album. Do you think I am the only one that did not like Sceptre of Deception in the world? Of course however, anyone who didnt like it must be mentally handicapped because YOU liked it and if YOU deem something to be good then there are no other options. I'm going to put this in its own seperate paragraph so you can understand this:

I do not care that you disagree with the rating. In fact, I encourage readers who disagree with my ratings to post their coments in the forums and have a constructive critical arguement over the music. Yet when you try to explain your disagreement what you spouted was a bunch of drivel that insulted me and everyone else who did not see things your way. You HAVENT EVEN HEARD THE ALBUM. What you make your grounds for arguement on is two songs and a sample or two. I on the other hand have the FULL ALBUM THAT HAS BEEN LISTENED TO NUMEROUS TIMES. You are nothing more than a bitter child (if not in body then in mind) who throws a fit when people say something that is different than what you think.

I have another question. How old are you? You seem to me like a whiny little kid who just discovered metal in the past few years and have yet to weed the filler from the true gems. Your posts are immature, lack cohesive arguements and are filled with childish comments and bitching.

Someday when you hit puberty and have been listening to music for over half a lifetime then you will see and know some of the things that I have. Until then cherish your mediocre cds because someone out there needs to keep these bands going.

How could someone who hadnt heard the album make a statement like this? It boggles the mind....that is unless this one very special person has by passed millions of years of evolution and developed prescience ahead of schedule. I highly doubt this, but in a world that can produce such stupid people...I feel that anything is possible.

I would suppose that it depends on how highly you hold the human spirit: I for one, do not hold it very highly at all, and regard WiC as an unfortunate circumstance of idiots breeding.

Leviathan is such a great book, if for only the illuminations that it sheds on the basic problems within the human mind.
