Not a new album. Nor is it really news, though.

What's with the hatred regarding this band anyway ? I liked half of Rise of the Tyrant. Did I miss something ?
Do you have a link to the song ? I'm not able to find one, it seems.

I like them, liked the two albums before ROTT too, but it's not a popular opinion around here.

This link'll give you the new song, you have to select your country from the map...

Thank you, it's not bad. I hope the album's got more to offer though. We'll see.

It wasn't bad till the weak solo happened. I had to close my eyes to the video due to the lameness of it.

I have yet to see a good metal video clip. It seems impossible.

Apparently Marilyn Manson is going to release a death metal or dm influenced album, I read the thread on MA I wonder how it will sound.

This band's choruses are as telegraphed a pop star, difference is Gossow lacks the voice to be belting out those generic, repetitive lines.

Yeah some of the guitar work is still stellar, and the verse sections are pretty good, but frankly I don't know how anyone that listens to stuff more complicated than pop could tolerate this.

Pleased and relieved to report that the new Pestilence kicks arse! Not bad at all, a real step forward from Resurrection Macabre, with some of its style so some of its problems, but none that spoils it. They've used eight-string guitars so it's heavier, and they still do that thing where they repeat riffs ad absurdium, but those sections are broken up with cool instrumental bits - it's very technical, moreso than RM, each song sounds different and not at all samey. Quite experimental in terms of songwriting, there's one that sounds really slow and epic and one that sounds like Meshuggah... Plus, Mameli sounds like a fucking beast, very deranged and shrieky. All in all, good stuff after a single listen.

Video off of ANb's new split for a 24 second long track. The video is one minute but yeah check it out. It's not bad. They have seven tracks on the split with Despise You who I've never heard before. Comes out tomorrow.

Great news! More great news, new stuff from Negura Bunget:

A 28 min ep...I guess this is out now in some places, or shortly will be out everywhere. Those curious can look to youtube.
