I really think that Arch Enemy are one of those bands that while going mainstream can still be very good and Khaos Legions is a proof of that

I can't stand Wages of Sin anymore, and I doubt this is better than that. I will give it a listen though.

Played this quite a lot when it came out must give it more spins. The bonus disc wasn't as good.

So, Khaos Legions is like Wages of Sin pt II? I might give it a spin then. Hope I don't end wasting 40 min of my life...

It is a bit long with over a dozen songs on it.

It was ok but nothing to write home about.

But then meat and potatoes is what I expect from Arch Enemy.

What I meant is that Khaos Legions isn't as good as Wages of Sin.. Honestly I would give this a 75 max.. But that's a good score to me.. Not a groundbreaking album but a good one

Nothing new, but is still a fun listen. The guitar leads are interesting as always the riffing though is a little bland. As for Angela She sounds good through most of the album. I'd give this a 75, good quality but nothing to write home about.

I agree that Angela does sound good on this album.

Second listen revealed a few more choice riffs. Some are quite heavy for Arch Enemy and overall it's probably better than some of their other stuff.

Let me start off by saying this album is complete crap, not only are most of the godforsaken songs mid-paced but the Amott's clearly have no idea how to write a threatening riff anymore. All of the songs just drag on without any inkling of power, and Gossow sounds like shit as she does on every album. This band needs to die or at least have the Amott brothers reintroduced to how to play courtesy of Black Earth. 10/100

Ouch. lol. I could never get into their early stuff I thought Johan Liiva had such an awful voice. He sounded like he was yelling at someone, not channeling harsh vocals.
