The Lord Weird Slough Feg - Traveller

They're the metal albums I recommend to everyone and anyone. And if someone doesn't like them I think worse of them as a person. errything else is whatever

Deathspell Omega - SMRC.

Repulsion - Horrified.
Death - Individual Thought Patterns.
Dark Angel - Darkness Descends.
Cryptopsy - None So Vile.
Converge - Jane Doe.
Slough Feg - Traveller.
Annihilator - Never, Neverland.
Slayer - Reign in Blood.
Electric Wizard - Dopethrone.

Basically, having not heard one of these albums is a travesty. Not loving all of these albums is weak.

I think other than Turbo, Painkiller (sooo overrated) has that honor.

A bit of a strange nomination, I agree. I wouldn't say it's classic Priest, I'd say is Priest taking a break between British Steel and Screaming For Vengeance and releasing a fun album, for recreation. Still, it's got Desert Plains on it, which makes it worthwhile by default.

Seconding the Warlod mention, that band was so ahead of their time, for those who haven't you should check out Lordian Guard as well. Sinners in the hands of an angry god is one of the best metal albums I've heard in a long time.

I love The Bastard, probably as much as The August Engine, but it's more peculiar/acquired taste kind of thing. Maybe because I loved Hammers for two or three years before I got into it.
