it's so damn poppy and catchy. Imho, this is a classic, way more classic than this week's choice...

Dan Swano (swano sounds like "your anus" in spanish

) is one of my favorite composers in Metal, very prolific too!

Btw, wtf happened with the reviews this week? The site wasn't updated 'til Tuesday :mellow:

Tony, you need more Edge of Sanity!....check out the highly underrated "Purgatory Afterglow" album....fantastic stuff. Also, "Unorthodox" was their first album that showed they would be a special band....

Sacrificed is a kick ass song as is the whole album. Edge Of Sanity has never let me down in the quality of their music. Brilliant band. By the way, IMO this should have been the classic.

Kick ass album indeed. These guys are a personal fave when it comes to DM.

Agree on Purgatory Afterglow being criminally underrated but all their albums are pretty awesome (even Cryptic which doesn't have Dan Swano).

I used to like this album a lot back in the day. Haven't listened to it in decades though, maybe I should try to see how I perceive it now, since my tastes have changed over time.

The update was done 11:45pm Monday night local time. Was delaying it in the expectation of further reviews to boost the numbers, unfortunately the riots didn't put me in a mood to write.
