"Munster, Indiana's Three Floyds Brewing Company has produced the AMON AMARTH Ragnarök beer.

A description of the Imperial/Strong Porter brew reads as follows: "A beer for the end of ages brewed with our friends in the band AMON AMARTH. This Aesir Porter is a robust and hearty beer brewed with local honey and a small portion of smoked malt. When Heimdall sounds the Giallar-horn this is the beer to be hoisted by the gods in anticipation of the coming battle."

Now they can drink their own product and get wasted before their shows. Do any of you plan on buying some?

It's a better fit than AC/DC and wine if you ask me:

It's interesting to note how this band is selling out in the most boring ways imaginable.

They're not selling out, they're cashing in.

I don't know, but for me it's kind of funny that it's probably the same people that are accusing Amon Amarth for selling out that are complaining how they're so boring since they've sounded the same since their first album.

It's not like the beer seems to be some kind of massmarketed, bland lager either way.

Sounds pretty good, I'll give it a shot.

EDIT: and yeah, this is from one of those local craft brewers, not Anheuser Busch. It's hardly "selling out."

If I can get my hands on this stuff, I definately will.

I saw the AC/DC wine at the bottle shop on Friday. Also truly sad (just got a cheap yet tasty bottle of Yalumba Sauvignon Blanc instead).
