More like 20/100. Dreadful music (in a bad way). Persistence of Time and Among the Living are the only albums worth the listen.

I think that review was incredibly harsh, it may not be the Anthrax from the 80's, but that's just it....the John Bush era moved away from the 80's thrash Anthrax led by Belladonna and shouldn't be compared to it.

Both Volume 8 and Stomp 442 (and Sound of White Noise) were my 3 favourite Anthrax album with Bush on vocals. Only Among The Living and State of Euphoria were the only Belladonna albums I enjoyed. Persistence of Time was something I just couldn't enjoy.

Volume 8 - for me, would reach an 82-84/100 with the best songs being Inside Out, Hog Tied, Killing Box, Big Fat, Born Again Idiot and Crush

I really like this album. I like Inside Out too! I'd give it a 90.

Makes sense as I like Groove Metal for the most part and am not hungout on Anthrax giving up the Thrash side. This is probably cause Sound of White Noise was such an excellent album that abandoning Thrash for it was worth it.

I don't like Stomp 442 or We've Come For You All though.

You rate this a 90 and don't appreciate Schuldiner's work. You too are insane.

Nope, it's my opinion and my metal tastes differ from yours.... and probably the reason why i'm choosing to review the new album (for one of the websites in my sig), to see where they've come after years of stagnating after We've Come For You All, dumping Bush and returning to Joey after all those years.

All the Bush-era albums are really good. Sadly, people can't seem to grasp that that Anthrax isn't the Anthrax from the 80s.

That's the point I've been trying to get across...

"Clumsy Title...." Yeah, like lately Anthrax has come up with some real cool, killer, cutting edge album titles. "We've Come For You All" and now, "Worship Music?" Sounds like A LOT of thought went into those titles.

Anthrax is stale bread.......bottom line.

1. Wow, try reading the whole review.
2. Even for groove-era Anthrax, this is pretty poor in my opinion. Note I love SoWN and gave that a very positive review. Songwriting-wise, Volume 8 and Stomp were very, very patchy.
3. Did I say that WCFYA or Worship Music are great titles? No.
4. Every Big Four studio album except Worship Music has now been reviewed, I think. Volume 8 was the only other Anthrax gap before that...

Curious to see what you guys give Worhsip Music. I've only heard one song and it sounded ok but underwhelming.
