So The Sword is actually a good band, how about that! I saw them live once (they were first part of a Metallica show) and I wasn't impressed. But that song is great.

I've only heard/read good things about this ep so I decided to give it a listen. Very good death doom so far. I might pick this up.

Even at this point you can hear some of the bands more mystical elements, though no one really listens to death metal Tiamat, Sumerian Cry pt 3 and Mountain of doom are thrashy numbers worth a spin.

anybody ever hear of a band called Death Letters? seems pretty hipster style music, but the song I Wish I could Steal a Sunset is pretty awesome. Very heavy/doom/stonerish. Check it out.
