It is a shame however that people dismiss this great music because of alleged Nazism.

Very true. But i think people exaggerate a bit at times, like Drudkh doesn't have such direct "nazi" ideologies and is more orientated on natural themes etc... I can understand a person not listening to Graveland or Aryan Terrorism, or Nokturnal MOrtum cause those band have extremely "direct" national socialistic ideologies.
But my suggestion to everyone is to fucking ignore them and just LISTEN TO THE MUSIC, cause it is fucking great!

Are there any samples available of this band? I can't find any if there are, but would like to hear them...

 I've been thinking about that too. But he makes them where I can see him so I would notice if he tried anything funny..

The only place I've found Drudkh is at www.darksoul7.net

You have to listen to the stream and request it, but otherwise it's a pretty good site.

If you think ’beautiful black metal with a dash of melancholy and loads of (non-cheesy) atmosphere’ sounds good I’ll say it is a safe buy. No samples needed.

Actually that does sound good... Came incredibly close to buying this over amazon today, but in the end my cash was directed towards Blut Aus Nord... Hopefully it will be mine eventually.

"False Dawn" from the album before Autumn Aurora, Forgotten Legends.

Yeah it is 16 minutes, but still it is my favorite from this band.

Forgotten Legends was actually the first review on here from Drudkh that I saw.. After I read all of the reviews I decided to go with Autumn Aurora first... Its funny you mentions Forgotten legends though, because I was listening to forests in fire and gold when I read your suggestion... I am sure I will enjoy the song you posted as everything I have heard so far is fucking great. Thanks

This was a gateway blackmetal album for me. I love every second of it.

This and blood in our wells are two of the best modern black metal albums.

I like blood in our wells more because it has some of the best guitar solo's I've ever heard but this album is a little different.

I listened to this the other night.
