The riffing is still simplistic but unlike The Great mass, they are able to bridge that with some epic songs.

We'll see. But the Arven is not bad, actually. You gotta be able to stomach melodic/folk-infused female fronted symphonic power metal but the chick singing isn't too annoying (and I'm not into female fronted metal, fiy) and the music works pretty well. Sure, it's a lot of cheese but not bad cheese.

Nice progressive rock album (not unlike Yes, Asia or Kansas) with a modern production and a few metal guitars. The band features ex-Sieges Even guitarist and vocalist/keyboardist.

Ballsy bluesy hard rock with a few aggro-metal riffings thrown in to thicken the sound. Not bad at all!
It's the band 4th full length. The line-up comprises ex-Dio Rowan Robertson and ex-Odin/Armored Saint Jeff Duncan.

Rather generic American power metal. Kate French's angry pipes make it more entertaining.
Anyway, it's not bad for a self-financed album though70 minutes is a lot to stomach.
