The few songs that I have heard off of this album are interesting.. Which is the best album of theirs to start with, meaning their best one overall.......

I really liked the previous one, Goi Rode Goi.

All their albums are quality, you can't go wrong with them.

I'd say that's probably their best overall. Solid band, though.

It’s perhaps a step sideways from Goi, Rode, Goi! rather than a step forwards, but is still an excellent album and more than recommended.

It was exactly what I thought after listening for the first time to this album. And How disappointing this is.

My personal favorite is Ot serdtse da k nebu, and I hoped the they
would improve even more. But with Goi rode goi and this one they step in the same place.

Nevertheless it's a fantastic album.

I have their Goi rode goi album which has the finest booklet artwork I´ve ever seen. The album is almost worth getting just for the booklet

I saw them live last sunday at Paganfest, along with Wintersun and Finntroll among others. Although I don't really like Arkona I have to admit that they put on a great show. Especially Masha, she went crazy on stage. :dio:

I can't stand the vocals, otherwise it's pretty good.

Exactly. Her vocals got annoying after a few songs but she puts on an amazing show.

After giving it a few more spins with a more critical view, i understand what you mean. She was never a classic growler and her voice get even pretty embarrassing in some songs (odna, leshiy). In the previous albums she managed stay out of those moments most of the time, so if you are new to this band you should try something else first.
