- again. lived with a french girl and a belgian and still i only spoke to them in English. i can read fairly well, and i can hold a conversation with a french speaker, but can barely write and can't follow, say, a conversation between two french speakers. ok so it's only a semi-fail.
- didn't learn formally, but did keep reading about it, visited Bordeaux twice, and there certainly was a lot of, erm, tasting in 2011. check.
- no Prague, Berlin or Mairselle, but visited Barcelona, the French and Spanish Basque country, Périgord, Paris, Bordeaux, Nîmes, Montpellier, Carcassonne and a couple of other places. check.
- made some decent stuff, i'm happy.
as for working out more, i did.
nah, this year:
- physical goals: complete a marathon (let's say, in under 4h30), consistently complete 10km in 45 minutes or less (my best is 50), do the kip-up like a ninja badass.
- improve french or learn something else
