Amazing album. It's got an energy I don't hear from bands very often nowadays. My favourite song so far is Before The Blackened Sky but I feel they will all grow on me over time. Keep up the good job!

I like Wintersun, so I'm checking this out. It's good, but I also don't really listen to this type of stuff anymore...hmmm confused. I would have loved this like three years ago.

Tons of those melody progressions that are used a ton but tug at the heartstrings and I love them.

After ten spins or so my thoughts on this album are much more positive than after the first 2-3 listens. Album is a grower and first in this extreme power/melodeath subgere I find myself enjoying after 4 years or so, so thanks for the recomendation.
It doesn`t quite reach Wintersun and is probably overscored but there is something about this record and I will definitely keep listening to it.

Great review and album in my opinion. I would give it low 90's. A similar, and extremely unknown and unrecognized band that you should all check out is The Elysian Fields from Greece. Absolutely amazing melodeath.
