Good review. I have never listened to them before, but it sounds like something I should check out. Where is the best place to start?

This album is really chill, almost ambient.

Earlier stuff sounds like instrumental Meshuggah after a dose of melody and beauty. Beacons is prolly best starting point.

I started with all of them, since they're all free. This one is awesome too.

Is there a Loop review coming?

I actually like this stuff. Good music to just listen too while performing another task. Nice review.

Something to say about Ben Sharp (Cloudkicker). I ordered a couple of Cloudkicker tshirts from his bandcamp website, ordered the wrong size, emailed the "support" email to inform them of my error, and got an email from Ben Sharp directly saying he would correct the situation. Great musician and from his interviews and prompt response to my email, great dude.

I should probably review Loop for completion's sake, but wasn't too sure if it'd fit the site at all. He has some new stuff on the way though!

New album is up. It's a lot more metal than the last one.

Oh, and he still offers them for free, but I gave 5 bucks.

More metal? I guess I could give it a gander.

Wait. Who am I kidding? This shit is boring. 5 minutes in and I'm ready to turn on Buffy the Vampire Slayer instead.

Thanks for the update, douche.

So, people interested, I get a real Smashing Pumpkins vibe on some of the songs.

Hey Ness: I can sort of see your Pumpkins vibe; I see some Pelican in the heavier parts too.

This isn't bad, I'd just prefer it focused on the heavier parts even more.

Maybe with the next one, based on the progression to a somewhat heavier sound, I'll really like it.

I'm with you. Some of the earlier stuff is a lot heavier, I tend to drift back to those... Beacons is still up there as the best for me.
