I saw behemoth and watain in mesa last night, it was phenomenal, behemoth sounded huge compared to other bands i've seen at that venue like Amon Amarth.

Watain killed it and The Devil's Blood really blew me away, I've been listening to the devil's blood all day now, they really rock.

In solitude had a really shitty mix where you could barely hear the guitars which was dissapointing, as I've heard they're pretty good.
Funny I couldn't hear In Solitude's vocals but the guitars were clear.

All you could hear was vocals and drums for In Solitude. It was at this place called the Nile Theater which is just one big brick wall room and is kind of notorious for having shit sound sometimes.
Their drummer was where it's at anyways. He was a beast.

Yeah I noticed the drummer was playing pretty fucking hard, but still you could not hear the guitars which blew.

Yeah. Should be a great tonight. I'm going to wait and see if a buddy of mine can show up as well. I'm wholly capable of enjoying the show by myself, however.

Saw Hate Eternal and DRI last week. Such a nice guy, Erik Rutan. Oh, and DRI really stole the show. Don't really know much about their stuff, but really enjoyed their set.

Negura Bunget were excellent! Although, somethings from the past came up with seeing some people and all that made it a little less enjoyable, unfortunately. I was preoccupied by the time they hit the stage. Fuckin' humans sometimes.

EDIT: I wish I would've gone and talked to Negru! Fuck! He was sitting right across in the pub. I wasn't in the right state of mind.
Too fuckin' bad!

That kinda makes me appreciate attending shows alone I guess...

Or, you know, don't go with somebody if there could possibly be any drama? That makes sense.

 how amusing.

I did go alone. It was a blast from the past. It was inevitable for it to happen. Some ex-buddy-thing. It's all good now, though.

Destruction kicked ass. 4th or 5th time seeing them now, and they only get better each time.

Also learned that Kreator is touring North America with Accept. Should be an awesome show as well.

Going to take my 12 year old son to his first concert so I'm buying him tickets to see Iron Maiden.

Deciding if we're seeing them here in North Carolina or trekking up to D.C./Va. to see the show so I can take my older son with us as well. I would like to get my official 'I hate LiveNation fees!' out of my system right now. $45 in fkin' fees! Are you kidding me?!
