Opeth! A wonderful album this is. I have already pre-ordered Heritage. Not much more to say really but this that even though I have been listening to Opeth for 8 years now they still sound as awe-inspiring as they did 8 years ago when I first heard them. Massive cheers to this extraordinary giant of a band.

I say this is definitely the best opeth record to date. Yeah you fags, not still life, not blackwater park but this. The main problem I had with the aforementioned albums and the rest (I do love them) is that they don't flow like this one does. The dynamics are amazing. They are much better songwriters now and Akerfeldt has definitely improved greatly on both his clean singing and growls.

I see you have a problem with gay men too...

Best first post ever!

How has this album aged for people, anyway? I can't say I have listened to it in a quite a while.

I've been on an Opeth kick lately, I still dig it. Hessian Peel is still one of my favorite Opeth songs.
