Well, "Time I" that is. Apparently it'll be a two-parter. October 19th 2012.

I believe.
But I'm unimpressed by the (too) short samples.

Wanna bet when Time 2 will be released?
I'd say 2015.

The metal Duke Nukem Forever! Worth the wait, of course.

Err....

You see, I think the difference between Time and Duke Nukem Forever is that DNF was constantly being worked on and altered by several different teams throughout its development cycle. When you look at early trailers of DNF, it looks COMPLETELY different (and much better) than the final product. The material for Time, on the other hand, was written years ago, and Jari only just recently got his hands on the proper technology to make his supposedly hundreds of layered tracks a reality. In short, Time SHOULD sound just as it would have had Jari and Wintersun been able to record and release it, say, five years ago. I'm expecting a great album, though probably not a masterpiece.

Anything short of a masterpiece would be a disgrace. Maybe those songs were crafted a few years ago, that doesn't mean that, given time, they haven't been worked and reworked and worked some more. That's actually what I expect from musicians eager to prove themselves to the world. Hence the expectation and the big risk of a disappointment.

Ha! Time will be a bigger disappointment than Obama and you all know it. If it's a masterpiece I will eat my hat, and being British I actually wear one. This is a lie.

You do? I do to. :D
I'll take your word on that, by the way, and demand to see a picture was Time the masterpiece you don't think it'll be. :P

I thought it was supposed to be in August ??

Anyway Time has big shoes to fill. The first album is a masterpiece and people will expect something mind blowing after all these years and wait. Personally i don't think it will live up to the hype but i still think it's going to be very good.

I'd be happy with a good album. I have no real expectations for this one, it's been too long, I almost forgot about these guys. The first album is great (as in really fucking great), but I listened to it so many times that I can't hear it now without feeling a bit nauseous. Worse: bored.

And I want to see Zad's hat too.
