I planned on listening this album ever since it came out on Metal-Rules, but I couldn't find it on the internet so i kind of forgot about it.And from your review i got that they resemble Manowar in their music so maybe i shouldn't hurry to get this.Never been a fan of Manowar in the first place.I think it was some guys from Winterlong that put together this band and thats what picked my interest.

i have a 30 second sample of "like a viper", it's fast and shit, really cool, but no vocals at that point though.

does the music keep the pace?

btw, the sample was sent to me a while ago... when did the album come out?

I admit he hasn't been at his best on the last 2 Sacred Steel albums, but on the first 3 he ruled!

In all honesty, you probably wouldn't like this album if you are not a fan of Manowar, but nonetheless, it could be worth checking out if you have access to MP3s.

The music absolutely keeps its pace. Viperine's strong suit is definitely its talented ensemble of musicians that play some real ass kicking metal that is quite solid through the entire album. As for a release date, after doing a bit of searching it appears to have been released September 21, 2004.
