How did you not mention who is in this band? Bravo you maybe?

Aaron Turner from Isis and Twilight fame, Scofeld from Cave In, Newton from Converge and Doomriders are all in this band that surely give them a more unique sound than other sludgy acts. I need to check this out and them for that matter. I'm speaking out my ass but I can't imagine Newton not doing something awesome.

I actually did that on purpose, although I wasn't even aware of the existence of this sludge "supergroup" until a few months ago, and when I saw who was in the band I was very excited to give them a listen. I didn't mention that part simply because I usually prefer to discuss the music rather than who is in the band. Is that a good thing? Perhaps not in cases like this one, since you can definitely here influences from the members' other bands.

For anyone who wants to give this a listen before buying it, the full album is streaming on their bandcamp page: http://oldmangloom.bandcamp.com/

It can also be found on Grooveshark: http://grooveshark.com/#!/album/NO/8046233

awesome on that bandcamp link. didnt know that existed.

i was impressed that you didnt mention names. it would be an explanation shortcut and ultimately not do it justice. but however it might attract listeners. their presence is the only reason im hankering to listen to this.

Excellent, I'd really like to hear what other people think of their music and this album in particular.

Enjoying it thus far. I like how they're willing to follow the rabbit hole into noise.
