The same issue seems to befall bands like these guys and Wrathprayer. Murking up your material and sounding discordant is fine, lots of bands in the death metal underground can do such but newer acts seem more concerned with creating an occult atmosphere as opposed to crushing and demonic riffing. I enjoyed the crushing riff in Azazel as it reminded me of Incantation's Demonic Incarnate, but the album as a whole lacks the power of bands such as Infester and Incantation
