Been sampling this in YT, sounds pretty good. Don't like the choruses though.

The clean singer pretty much ruins every chorus for me. He lacks power and sounds like he struggles with every note. They sound nice in general, however.

Some gang-choruses ala Accept/Ensiferum would be better.

Yeah I knew it would bother some, I adapt easily to such things, as long as musicianship and melodies are good (and they are delivered in spades on that album) I usually can adapt. I thought I'd have bigger problems with the growls than the clean vocals but in the end I love it all. I wouldn't mine a tad less growls but that's really nitpicking.

I think strong choirs for chorus lines would be more effective, maybe in a future album. For a self released album it really kicks ass, so much better than many of the signed crap out there.
