I think it's because his first couple of posts were confusing. Although I thought they were kind of hilarious.

Yeah, we genuinely thought he was a spambot when he subscribed. Whereas he was in fact legit.

One can of Murray's is a lifetime supply. I'd recommend you try some Royal Crown. It's not a hardcore wax like Murray's, but it's a thick enough pomade to hold your hair in place and goes on smooth. Old school no frills grease.
But Murray's is so good. I actually just tried washing it out and still have an intense devillock going. I just have so much hair that I don't trust simple grease. I wish Murray's just looked cleaner. It makes me look like I have dandruff until I comb it out for a bit. No hair product I've used has held my hair firmly in place throughout the day and into the night like Murray's. I guess for obvious reasons though.

I might go through a can of Murray's in a month. Should I not even try washing it out?

I'm not telling you to ditch your hair butter of choice, just saying if you wanted to try something new. Murray's will definatley hold your hair in place, but doesn't create the wet look. When you use Murray's, try mixing in a little Groom & Clean for a clean shine. Or you could top your hair with a splash of Vitalis or a dab of Brylcreem after you've combed it. American Greaser Supply makes some good wax based pomades, and the labels on the tin are cool.

I don't know about "legit".....I'm still pretty sure it's Steve trying to fuck with us. Just sayin'.

Murray's isn't necessarily my product of choice. I just finally moved over to the big guns after dabbling in "puny" pomades like Suave or Axe. Don't judge. bigg's didn't have much in the way of choices to choose from. I don't know if I want that wet look but I'll try it with some Brylcreem tomorrow. That might be the look I want. My can of Murray's has two black people with 'fros on it and I don't know what to make of that.

Lol. I could imagine the looks you'd get if a black guy was checking out the purchase.

You gotta wait out those first few weeks man. I have a huge long beard like a biker right now, and I've never felt more manly. Totally worth it.

dude i wish i could get past this point. i get to three weeks and im almost past the awkward part but the itching drives me crazy. and at night i sleep on my side so my cheek is on the pillow and my face itches and burns and shit. i havent had a good nights sleep in about a week and a half. you have no idea how bad i want to grow a damn beard. this is probably my 8th time getting this far and saying screw it in the last six months. i cant get past three weeks. is there any trick to the itching?? or you just have to wait it out?

Yeah I dunno exactly. Even before I grew a huge beard I never used to shave, only trim, coz I Fucking hate shaving it fucks with my skin. So I've always had a little short beard since I was a teenager, so I guess that made it easier for me. When I started growing it long, the same thing happened to me when I tried to sleep but I got over it after a few weeks. So long story short, I don't have any tips! Sorry dude.
