But if Mike > Ozzy why bother with Ozzy at all? It's the Gathering vs Evanescence point all over again...

er, Black Sabbath's most influential era: 1970 to 1975

this comparing contemporary bands to them thing is for the birds, dude. not only that, but I love Ozzy's voice

the thing is Mike is not better than Ozzy, they're just different... the fact that I prefer Patton to Ozzy doesn't make it better for I accept people with contrary opinions and respect theirs as much as I want mine to be respected... something you should learn to do...

PS : Gathering are better, imo, than Evanescence but I like My Immortal better than any Gathering song... go figure...

I like it as well, just responding to criticism for preferring Witchcraft.

It wasn't criticism, just, the way you said it make it look like BS was shite and Witchcraft had the original recipe... and that was stupid indeed...

So that's why you assaulted me for liking Witchcraft, I see. Differing opinios, hey?

PS: Yes, it's a great song.

I said W > BS. I said I didn't like Bs when compared to far superior bands lie LZ. What the hell are you on about?

I thought you were one of those people who thought, since Ozzy did The Osbournes on MTV, that everything he has done was complete shit

my mistake again but you were looking like a member of that particular club...

No. There's a radio comedy over here where they take the piss out of him, and it's funny, but I still like the guy's music (well, some of it).

I belong to no "clubs". I am my own club. [/krieg]

you did post the metal equivalent of "Creed are better than Led Zeppelin" mind you.

I might go fool around on prog-archives and post "Dream Theater are better than Genesis" to see some heads explode. ICONOCLYSM!

Hey dude, this band gets the good sound of the '70 again. This is a great band. But I would not name it stoner rock. It's like old pentagram + quite an original feeling I get from this.

This is far more 70's psych-rock than it is anything else. Great band, too.

Witchcraft is awesome, a lot of talent in that band and I don't even like Ozzy Sabbath so much or at least since I was 16. Reverand Bizzare is quite cool as well.

The new one (Legend) I think is out now too .. sounds a bit different, but the quality is still there (unlike The Sword's latest for example).
