but the "get off my lawn" rant wasn't entirely serious. if it makes people happy and generates business, by all means go for it. it's lame but it's good for us, i guess.

I got blazed because I had a weekend away that happened to fall on Halloween weekend. And yes, it's not about the thousands of kids outside getting candy. Yes, it's all money money money, but stop being such a miserable a-hole your entire life.

Seriously though, what kind of an extrapolation is this? Being a miserable asshole is sort of my shtick on the forum: surely you know all about forum shtick. Maybe it was pangs of envy at your having such a good trip shrooming with your buds....I had two great trips myself, but the third sucked so much I never did them again. But good on you for having a great time, and telling us to listen to that Asteroid record, which I'm finding a welcomed change of pace.

went to a house party/show dressed in khaki shorts and a white undershirt and drank a bunch of arrogant bastard ale.

bands that played were ramones cover band, melvins cover band, and black sabbath cover band.

Had a 22 oz bottle of it myself last night. Such good stuff and the perfect Halloween ale for its imagery and taste.

nice, we had a keg of it.

AHHH! Awesome. I don't know if I could find enough badass people to drink it.
