The shorter songs sound nice. My problem with this band as always been struggling to listen to the five twenty minute songs without losing patience. They're great, but have never written the songs that would actually grab me and keep me in my seat long enough.

Indeed. Like I said in the review though, the longest track here is just ten minutes and is excellent, this is a good step towards quality overtaking quantity.

Left Behind as Static is so good. The rest isn't convincing me, but I imagine this being one of those albums that might take time to sink in.
