Loved it from start to finish. The beginning just sets the mood perfectly.

This is a great album, one of my favourites of the past year, and this band is really talented. At first I was a bit let down by this though, as they seemingly went for a more melancholic sound, moreso than on Monolith. I completely fell in love with that album so in a way I was hoping for Monolith 2. But I'm glad they didn't! It took me a little longer to see how great this is. They're slowly evolving their sound but the songwriting remains intact. Definitely a gem in a stagnating genre.

Good review. Definitely an 80+ album.
I've been listening to it for a week now, at first it seemed that some songs drag on a bit too much, bur after 4-5 spins it all came to it's place. Colossus, Celestial Tear, A Wow To Conquer The Ocean and The Drowning Sun rule.
Great selction of killer songs BTW. :D

Been listening to this a lot lately. Indeed a great album that deserves the score given to it.
