This a question better left to someone else but I think candlemass at some point was epic doom. I think while heaven wept is a form of epic doom too. It's all about the vocals I believe.

Nope I'm right. Candlemass is epic doom. So that means solitude aeturnus would also be epic doom. I suppose krux would be epic doom as well.

That seems like the most unnecessary of labels ever. Candlemass is the epitome of doom. Why would it need its own subgenre? Anyways...

Dude, I hear ya. Genre tags are frigging useless for the most part but sometimes it fits.

+1 ain't a fan of extreme classification but sometimes it's useful. It's a brand of Doom centered in war, fantasy and mythology.

Personal opinion is sahg isn't doom at all. I think sahg at least sahg 1 more resembles Alice in chains than doom.

epic doom is merely a matter of scale, I can write 20 minute long songs, include death metal growls, and have shitty keyboard samples and voila. Oh wait that would just make me Mournful congegaytion

Black Sabbath and Cathedral can't be considered "epic". Anyways, Scald is great, listen to them.

Cool, I ordered one yesterday too.

I had an 80 GB last me for like 6 years until I dropped it a few weeks back. Now whenever I turn it on it gives me an upside down smiley face telling me to contact support. There's nothing they can do for a 6 year old iPod, so time for a new one. I had like 77 GB of shit on that fucker. Music, movies, picture, all kinds of shit. Gone. Bah. Can't wait for my new one.

I hope you have backed up the 77gb of info Wally. I currently have an iPod touch 32gb, but honestly, 32gb is crap. I've around 300gb of music, so 160gb is more fitting. Btw, next time, buy a hard case, so you can drop it all you like.
