That is a badass story. I'm totally imagining a biker gang.

Awesome.

Actually, I never knew that was his last name.

Great flick, though.

Shit yeah there is.

Original writer/director George Miller (Australian legend) is writing and directing and he promised to do the car scenes without cgi. Excited? You bet your fucking arse I am!

To top it all off, Tom Hardy (Bane from dark knight rises) is playing Max which I think is an utterly inspired casting choice.

Oh and I forgot to mention, it's not a reboot, it's a sequel. Fuck yes.

damn there are some nice cars in this thread, fine pieces of machinery

I got two pics I can share (sorry but I don't have any photos of these in person) my uncle only just bought one and the other belongs to a very good friend of mine's granfather who refuses to allow photos of the car to be taken)

Terraplane 8, uncle lives in Alice Springs (thrash will know where that is for the rest of you it's inland Australia near one of our most famous national landmarks Uluru or Ayers Rock if you prefer) plans to restore it and use it as a sunday cruiser to be kept in his holiday house in Cairns (top end of Australia)

Image

AMC Javelin

my mate's grandfather has owned this car for a very very long time, he was nice enough to take me for a cruise in it once

I own 95 Mustang Gt (last of the 5.0's)... I believe I listed my mods previously. Got my 4.10 gears in and fuckin-A...
No the point of the tread is to post pics of beautiful machines.

I'll post a pic of my chariot when I find one.

Makes a hell of a difference dosen't it :dio:
I've got 4.30s in the cobra and while its fun, kinda overkill and drinks gas,but fuck it.

Very nice. Which is quicker, the Cobra or the '11 GT?
Hell yeah the gears make all the difference, feels like the car is 1000 pounds lighter at launch.
I really want to get a pair of Trick Flow twisted wedge heads and some bbk shorty headers .
Another thing I love about it is the sound of the flowmasters.
I have good sound system, but it can't compete with the exhaust haha

That 01 Cobra is beautiful I'd be lying if I said I wasnt a little jealous

Thanks man :dio:

Really the '11 5.0 would rape the Cobra.About a 100hp difference between the two[412 vs 320]and alot more torque for the '11,and the 3.73s with the 6 speed dosen't hurt.If it were a '03-'04 supercharged Cobra it would be a different story.

BTW I dig the hell out of the older 5.0's,nothing sounds better.
Stick to shortys though, longtubes are a bitch on these cars lol.

Internet pic of my car - Ford Telstar. I've got a 1985 auto.

Only difference is mine is an orangey brown and front is a bit more beaten up after I had a prang and had it crudly panel beaten out:

Known affectionately as the Deathstar!

So I've heard. My next step is replacing the rear 245 Pirelli PZero Neros with a pair of 275 Nitto 555s. 4.30 gears on the Cobra... I was nervous about taking my car out in the rain. As you know, the slighest touch of the gas is all it takes, haha.

You have any other mods? The newer 'Stangs are beasts.

I'm working on building mine up and have (so far) Edelbrock intake manifold, BBK CAI, Flowmaster 40 series exhaust connected to h-pipes, high-performance racing cam, timimg bumped up. Want heads and headers (and injectors and wider throttle body, haha), but the stuff aint cheap when you've a family to feed and kids to send to college.

It's a gay car, sorry. Wish I had the means to buy a '70s Cobra or a Mustang as either type would be my dream car, but being a Belgian citizen means I'd have to pay outrageous amounts of money just for Belgian road tax. Instead I have to make do with this castrated soccer mom mobile :lame:

Did you not notice I drive a Ford Fiesta during the week lol.

And Dead1,IDK if that thing is rear wheel drive, but a 5.0 or 351 swap would be fucking insane.

A cam and heads will wake that '95 up nicely :dio:.Really don't have much done to the Cobra, intake, exhaust, tune, basic shit.
The'11 only has a set of mufflers and a k&n filter, still under warranty[paid extra to extend it] so don't want to muck that up.
