I have a friend who thinks this way. Everything is either fucking amazing, or a worthless pile of shit and he hates it.

I'm sure it's no surprise to learn that he's also an idiot.

Personally I try my darndest best not to befriend idiots, but then that's just me.

He's a sweet, kindhearted idiot that I've known for 20 years. I have room in my life for good people, dumb and smart. Haha.

I agree with the score. To me it's much much better than the debut, but not as good as Wishmaster or Century Child. Once being a slight step below all three IMO.

By the time I got into the band Once was being released, but I was recommended by a friend to pick up Wishmaster instead. To this day it's still my favorite Nightwish album maybe slightly because it was my first. As for Oceanborn, maybe because I got hooked on the others first, maybe because of the thicker operatic vocal sound, it took me a little longer to fully embrace. Once I did I have enjoyed it emensly. Not a single weak track here. So to me it comes down to overall preference.

The Anette albums are so different in style, especially vocally that I see them as almost two completely different bands.

Btw, I'm new here to the forums. But I already like it here. My name is Tim and I am from Long Beach, CA. I love metal and also speak French.

Partly in an effort to derail the thread again: Welcome to the forums! J'espère que tu t'amuses ici.
