409 pages with about two or three posts of it to my name, and then I decide to take a look inside after six Duvels and this happens. What the hell, guys.

I blame you.

If you had been here more often, this never would have happened.

and I can't understand what the fuck Master's Hammer's lyrics are, but I do know they aren't english

Czech. So it shouldn't bother that you can't make out what they are saying, right? You mentioned this was a problem for you before?

more for completely incoherent vocals, I don't mind it because the music is pretty fucking awesome, my problem has always been if I can't actually tell there are words in the harsh vocals then I can't listen to it, with clean vocals it's different again the vocals need to be completely over-the-top if they aren't going to be in English

Video beneath the story shows them arguing prior to the shove.
That's fucking horrific. I'm so ready to burn this society down.

human race is at it's core flawed, cleansing this planet with global catastrophy may not be such a bad thing, clearly our species isn't fit to be in this dominant role we find ourselves

I read a different article wherein the freelance photographer who took the photo, responding to the (very justified) criticism against him for taking a photo instead of helping the poor bastard, said that he wasn't taking a photo, he was using the flash to try to alert the train driver to get him to stop.

Is that the biggest load of horeshit ever, or what? Nice composition for a photo you weren't trying to take, asshole.

I hope that guy feels fucking good about the photo he took.

reminds me of something I saw on the news down here last week of a guy who videoed (is that spelt right/a word) this other guy get out of his car and beat the shit out of a blind guy (not me fortunately) then ask the guy why he did it, guy says "he took too long crossing" got back in his car and drove off

because clearly getting "quality footage" of violence is more important to people then stopping the shit from happening

""Onlookers screamed, shouted and frantically waved their hands and bags in a bid to get the downtown Q train to stop," the Post reported"

Why not help the guy you idiots instead of wasting fucking time

because they never wanted to actually help the guy, merely to create the illusion that they cared whilst secretly enjoying the event (or maybe they thought they were helping who knows)

Probably didn't want to get hit by the subway themselves.

Guy was standing right at the edge of the tracks, with his arms up on the platform trying to get up.

Seems to me someone could have pulled his arms to help him up without putting themselves in danger of getting hit by the train.

According to article I read, one witness said most people just started screaming and running out of the subway. Kind of embarrassing if you ask me.

possibly

whilst on the subject of trains and helping people (and sorry but I can't seem to find the article)

few years back now (2010 from memory) there was a story of an Aussie who jumped in front of a train to rescue a man who had been pushed onto the tracks, earlier this year the same person (now seventeen) saved someone from drowning

when asked both times why he just said "it's just what you do, you know, I'm no hero just a regular kid who did what anyone would in the situation"

wish I knew the guy because I'd love to buy that guy a beer

I see it as a risk of you falling in as well, but I don't know, man. You grab the guy next to you's arm and you say come help me. You risk watching this man get plowed right before your eyes if you can't get him out, but you never regret the fact that you stared their watching him.

it seems people have a morbid fascination with seeing death and or serious injuries happen

of course you do get the odd person who puts themselves in harm's way to aid those in need as evidenced by my last post

Guess it's like the war photographer mindset, trained to document, not to intervene. That a lot of these guys seem to hate themselves for it matters.

and then you get the one who does intervene and is praised as a hero who doesn't think they did anything special

on another subject I am stunned to see some of the scores albums have recieved in reviews, then again if I were reviewing an album in a genre I wasn't particularly keen on I suppose that would reflect in the score so actually I think I can understand some of it but still a 78 for Refuge Denied? really?

What about the other people in the subway who reportedly just started screaming and running away?

I guess different people react to traumatic events in different ways, I'm not saying those people were right or wrong not knowing what was going through their minds I don't think I'm in a position to judge much as I would like to and I mean who's to say any of you who are condening these people for what they did or didn't do wouldn't just freeze up or run away under the same circumstances
