1) Firestarter
2) The Shining
3) Night Shift
4) Bachman Books
5) Pet Sematary
6) Different Seasons
7) Carrie
8) The Dark Half
9) Misery
10) The Stand

included a couple of his collections, and stopped reading him around the Tommyknockers (the last in the line of his work I have read), so my list is not really all inclusive. I should give his latter post-horror type stuff a chance one of these days, because, literary critics notwithstanding, he is a very talented writer.

I'll probably get a lot of static for relegating The Stand (considered to be his Magnum Opus) to # 10, but I always felt it was too long for it's own good.

I liked the Stand, but maybe it was too long.

I've read, but it wasn't as good as the ones listed. Maybe an honorable mention.

ouch, personally that's one of my favourite King novels

some of his recent stuff is good but a lot is just bizarre quasi-sci-fi stuff I can't get into, most recent King novel I actually liked was Under The Dome
