Really? I always just assumed that it was one of those bands that nobody needs to necessarily talk about because everyone knows that we all love them.

Yeah. Can't contribute because everyone is saying good stuff. Didn't see Rock It, though, which I was happy to hear when I saw them live. No piano, strangely enough!

I like Motörhead a lot less since Mickey Dee took on the drums. He's not rock'n'roll enough to fit the idea I have of how Motörhead should be.

I would really say that's where the heaviness comes from and so if that isn't your schtick then it makes sense.

You surely have heard Ace of Spades before. Radio, tv, movies, parties, somewhere.

never heard Motorhead? perhaps you've heard Motorhead and not realised it was Motorhead but I find it hard to believe you have never, ever, ever heard any song by Motorhead ever

and if that really is the case noodles you have been missing out for a very, very long time

Dunno if I've even heard of Ace of Spades, it's not ringing any bells. Will listen to that album though since it seems to be a good place to start and I like this although his voice might be a dealbreaker.

Noodles, there are so many things wrong with this post that when I tried to respond to the actual things you said, my nose started bleeding and I became dizzy.

Pretty big rock he's been stuck under the last 25 or so years if he's serious.

I'm lame and only have the Deaf Foreever compilation:

I only got into Motorhead this year. They were far sludgy sounding for me in my youth. Since then tastes have changed and I got into them.

Need to get more.
