This album is definitely on my 5 Top, and in the first position!

Fortunately, it happens that I live in their (our, actually) hometown but no, I'm not being paid to write this. I'm just a real fan, that's all. And I went to the show for the album release on June 19th and it simply kicked some serious ass! The band on stage is amazing, every member doing his best and at a serious speed. Iuri (the vocalist) manages to reproduce the same tones from the album, and with more power (if possible). The guitar players form a perfect duo and the drummer can't be more outstanding. And yes, the bassist, Marco Panichi, is really all that that is said about him in the review and more. This is the guy that stands out on stage in a way that I haven't seen since good ol' Steve Harris! And talking about Harris, Hibria's empathy with the public is at a level similar to that of Maiden's.

Well, I just hope that you guys abroad have the opportunity to comprove all that I said really soon. And believe me: I'm quite sure that you will!

Have you ever met any of the members?

Yes, right after the show, actually. They simply step out the concert club some minutes after the end of the show to meet and chat with the public outside, when I managed to talk to some of them, mostly to congratulate them for the awesome gig. They were asking people's impressions and such. And they were very friendly indeed. :D

Man I would love to see them live. The only good metal act that is good where I live is Cellador. I talk them up a lot, but that is probably the only band worth mentioning where I am from. It is so rare for a good show to come close to Omaha, NE.

So the chances of me seeing Hibria live are very unlikely.

I got the album yesterday and after 2 spins I really like it! The first and the last song are absolutely amazing! Top 5 of the year so far.

Just heard this album last night. Good stuff, best new metal act I've heard since Lost Horizon.

I think its wrong to call this retro though. It's modern power metal. MODERN. STill very good. It's way better than anything Nocturnal Rites is putting out, and Iron Saviour. The singer kind of reminds me of Daniel Heiman and Johnny Lindquist. There is a bit of technical wankery in it, but thankfully it's nothing too serious. For the most part I liked this release. The melodies are good and the riffs are pretty heavy. 84/100 for me.

My 4th favorite album of all time, absolutely beyond amazing. It's been that for almost a year now and I still play it at least weekly so there's no doubt that it stands the test of time. It's actually the only 00's release in my top ten, and only the third post-80's one. I'm kinda like Holy_Terror, or at least I'm partial to 80's metal/rock while still enjoying a good deal of new stuff (pretty well strictly metal as for new stuff though).
