The first album was decent, but nothing amazing. Will definitely check this one out.

This. I own the first album and have listened to it a few times, but after a few weeks of owning it I never once felt compelled to throw it on again. I'll definitely check out this new album though and see if it's an improvement.

heard and enjoyed their songs on that Phil Anselmo split, especially IT, definitely checking this out.

btw, didn't like the Anselmo songs very much. sounded like Trendkill if it were a death metal album. liked the vocals (he's still got it IMO), riffing was just boring though.

Indeed! It was hyped quite a bit for it to be so uninspired. He has an entire solo album coming out soon and I'm not very impressed by the people he has behind him. Maybe I'll be proven wrong though.

As has been mentioned it's a great thrashy ride of an album - kind of wears thin after a few weeks though. Still great for modern thrash.
