Thanks for the review Z, I had no idea they had another one coming out. Sounds like more of the same from Horna, which in their case works just fine.

I was just listening to Musta Kaipuu earlier today, these guys may as well have been the fourth Gorgoroth record or a side project of Darkthrone. It took me a few years to appreciate these stalwarts but I love their stuff, kind of a change of pace for thinking they sucked years ago. Sanojesi Aarele is a modern bm classic IMO

Anyways, competent but highly unmemorable, just like every song I check out by Satanic Warmaster, Behexen and Sargeist.

eh, I feel different about Sargeist, I feel like Let The Devil In got plenty of play time from me over the past couple of years for an awesome record.

Horna? Not quite as good. But I wouldn't hate on Satanic Warmaster or Sargeist.

I'd normally take Horna over all the other Finnish bands listed, though I've not heard this album yet.

On third spin of this its solid but the new guys vocals have nothing on Corvus' high shrieks. His grunts don't do much for me.
