You should check out their earlier EP's. "Frozen tears of the Huntress" is probably one of my favorite tracks of all time, by any band. Dan Clark's vocals were just killer. I guess I can see how many might consider them cheesy, and that could hurt their chances at a wider audience. But this new EP with Kara I just can't get into at all. The old fun, clever, clearly enunciated lyrics are gone, and I can't even really tell what the songs are about anymore. One of my favorite bands is Cwn Annwn from neighboring Minnesota, and about 60% of my favorite bands in all metal genres have female singers, so it's not just that. They were a huge favorite of mine for a short while, but I find the new incarnation just so-so.

Still, a good review. I hope others agree with you & they find success even if I personally am disappointed!
