I liked the review, but I would have rated this album a little lower. Indeed Matos' voice is one of the best, but I do not feel anything like I feel when I hear the first Shaaman. <-Doesn't make sense.

O'well. I'm glad to see this album reviewed. I was wondering when it was coming.

This album is weaker than Ritual but still a decent one from Andre Matos.I'm beginning to like his vocals each time i listen to this album.
Turn Away is the definite highlight for me.I'm a big fan of Sisters Of Mercy and this cover More was a good choice, although i'm still waiting someone to do a cover of Temple Of Love.

Great review, this album is great i bought it a month ago and is still on my playlist,
i really liked temple of shadows,i liked better than Rebirth, but im already getting tired of it,in the end there was just more of the same, this hasnt happened to me with Reason,i gave it a lower score than Temple of Shadows but it might rise, due it has more longevity than i expected.

The new album though still retains the classic progressive metal with ethnic motives sound is much more straightforward, more powerful, with more aggressive and heavy rhythms combined with warm keys and André’s unique voice

seeing how I disliked ritual for it was not heavy enough, I think I will have to check this new one hoping your description was accurate :D
