Two jazz recordings of the greatest caliber.

A two disc extensive composition/improvisation that truly challenges the listener in a serious manner. Worth the due attention given that is the orientation in a patient mind as a central factor. It will not work, otherwise.

My first time hearing this live recording series. Expecting a greatness that can deliver.

Newly-acquired. A great deal to like here.

Two iconic jazz figures from the apex of the genre's budding. Two discs, so I shall spending the next hour and a half with this recording.

My first time listening to this recording but I have heard one more other recording from Mr. Charlap. He is an outstanding pianist, and more so, a brilliant accompaniment from two other musicians, are present, on this release.

If there ever were a perfection of musical ideas, where harmonies are played to their outer most completion, these would be it. Certainty a voyage to lands of milk and honey.

Not new to Mr. Burrell but I am new to this magnificent live recording. Golden music.

Just acquired and shall be listening to with great interest.

Spell-binding and stunning in every sense possible.

My first time hearing this recording and I shall be listening to it with a great deal of hope for its musical acumen.
