Exposition to this album after prolonged periods of time, before which I had only listened to it, perhaps three, or four times, in well over 20 years. So, in other words, nearly and completely a new release to me.

The continued explorations of early Priest has been most pleasing.

A period of exceptional creativity for Therion.

At the end of our days, we are not measured by the great wealth, which we have amassed, or by our good charms, but how much of our humanity, we have preserved, in the face of giant realities, which we have endured, and by no other means, than by fate itself, which reality has, thrown at us, out of sheer necessity, and how much of it we have confronted, with courage, and with good faith, our humanity, in tact.

Grotesquely heavy death metal battering from these french freaks. Overwhelming at points in the way some death metal does to where it feels like avant garde noise, in a good way. Certainly a review option if I get around to it but a recommendation either way.
