An outstanding line-up, and a release which I have not listened to in quite some time, and so this returning is certainly a willfully pleasant one.

This recording is testament to the power of fine production and an equally carefully crafted Cool jazz.

Mr. Baker's consistency in the replenishment of the soul, with his good sense of melodic changes, and subtle chords progressions, makes him a narrative-maker, rather than, a typical jazz artist.

Percolating and emergent melodies are interweaved by rightful piano/electric guitar orderings and the ground-work for bass but no drums makes this recording a contemplative, but never too lazily constructed, album.

Excellent! Beethoven's 9th is a symphony that I have not given a listen to in many years, and Beethoven for that matter I believe the last time I listened to an entire symphony was over a year ago. I am still very much in fond of Beethoven's earlier symphonies, particularly, from 1 to 5, by Karajan and Szell as they are the only names which readily come to mind, alongside with Barenboim, though I am not very familiar with his interpretations, as much. These days, however, I much prefer the symphonic works of Schumann than Beethoven's. And, the 4 symphonies of Brahms, will always be my favorite, amongst all composers.

Indeed. An outstanding release and an outstanding guitarist.

Terrific third record from the Wilson sisters. Barracuda may have dominated the radio waves but albums cuts like Love Alive, Go On Cry and especially Sylvan Song/Dream of the Archer better showcase the full beauty and power of the band's collective talents.

Of such exceptional and rare ability that three bands members sound as organized and as tightly-knitted as a symphonic orchestra.

Finishing off


Mr. Extraordinaire is simply stunning in his creative music-making and satirical sense of humor. Not just a virtuoso, in many different regards, but more so, the ingenuity of his effortless compositions, where seemingly unconnected points of conjecture and disjuncture, simply meld into unity.

The curvature of harmony and rhythm.

Only an act such as AC/DC could write such laser sharp, straightforward riffs, and still sound like a band which had recorded in a colosseum and were as such also as equally effective.
