Clearly a better release than the previous one I was listening to with a lineup who are much better attuned to one another than the last one.

Outstanding sound quality on this effort but this album I have only heard once and never again so it is a real treat to have something entirely new to listen to at least a release which I remember nothing from. It is, additionally, one of the most lucidly-recorded jazz albums which I've had the pleasure of hearing and so to my delight it is not simply an output worthy of an ear.

A powerful live recording that both astonishes and disorients. Two-disc.

A stellar live album with a few albums worth of ideas that oozes progressive and constructive tension. The cohesion of the momentum is truly remarkable. To this day, I am impressed.

Before there was hard rock, or even today amidst the existence of the great extremities of black metal, or death metal, there was hard-bop, hard-swinging, hard-hitting jazz, that would have taught every single musician of the aforementioned secondary genres, a few essential lessons, about the nature of music itself.

The days shall be growing shorter and the nights longer as the Summer season moves ahead towards the end of the season, which shall speed up as the days progress, it is the nature time to accelerate, ever faster than is humanely conceivable, much less, realizable. Settling into this quite, and breezy Summer evening, with this release, after a much cumbersome, and curvy day.

A 2024 release by Julian Lage the contemporary face of jazz in the 21st century, polished, and highly eloquent playing, which I am not sure is completely fitting to a genre of music that, perhaps, retains no trace of its rich but short-lived heritage, and is no anywhere to be found. But this is 2025 and certainly a reversal of time is inaccessible to it. All in all, virtuosic playing entirely by the new frontiers of modern soulful and multifaceted music.

A group of musician which I have absolutely no priori familiarity with, though I can say this with great ease that all involved on this live recording, are intimate with singing the Blues, and preforming it, too. Released in 2024.
