I think you mean Serial Killer, not Silent Killer.

Perhaps drinking a lot of beer was causing him to release a few silent killers of his own

After 2 listens all i can say is wow this is good.It really got me from the firts listen and that's always a good sign.Of course it could have been a little longer cuzz 35 min. are just not enough. The vocals could have been better too but i'm not going to complain, i was actualy expecting much worse.I liked every song except maybe Silent Killer which is the shortest of all.The only thing i couldn't understand is why is this labeled brutal thrash when it didn't sound that brutal to me.
The fact that i've drank 1,5 liter of beer while listening to the album helped in a way i think :D

Sorry for any unintelligeble words, but i'm really seein double. And i stand firmly by my stand that this album simlpy kills. So it's 85 for me with the possibily to get higher with each liste n.

Cheers

I labeled it brutal thrash because it IS brutal, especially by the standards of the time.

Oh Fuck Yeah!! Good show Aron. Finally some real metal gets reviewed. I personally would have given it a 95, but I can't complain. This album should be immediately sent to the classics section instead of that fucking Moonspell album. or the Children of Bodom album. THis album would shit all over those pussy metal acts. Man these guys have attitude. Too bad no one can rock like this anymore.

yeah the music is indeed oozing with attitude, it's the lyrics and Killian's vocals that made it possible imo

I still wonder why they ban NSBM here and not this:

Here are some samples of the original lyrics from Bodies On Bodies:
Quote:
Up for the dead
The young Nazis are bred
Rising up their dreams of hell
Are waiting for you
Their words will cut you in two

KILLING - THEY JUST KEEP KILLING

"Save us," they're screaming
As death's hand is weaving
Stitching, quickly killing all
For reasons unknown
They quickly slice to the bone

BLEEDING - THEY JUST KEEP BLEEDING

This angled cross upon my arm
Is what my world is running on
So hide your head or join the dead
A place you all will soon be led

Come with me child, I'll do you no harm
As I violently am clenching her arm

There is no stopping
The bodies are rotting
Piling up the graves a mass
Are waiting to spew - they're being dug out for you

DYING - THEY JUST KEEP DYING

Their cynical laughter
Is what we are after
Coming from the mouth of hell
Is turning to dust
Their cities crumble in rust

BODIES - THEY'RE JUST DEAD BODIES

This angled cross upon my arm
Is what my world is running on
So hide your head or join the dead
A place you all will soon be led

Come with me child, I'll do you no harm
As I violently am clenching her arm

Gasoline injection into the vein
Starvation, millions of dead are on their way
We could really care less for your lives
We'll gas you, shoot you, stab you with a knife
And if you think you're going to escape
We'll cut you down, like weeds at the gate
Laughing at you loudly as you die
Your wounds bleed profusely, say goodbye
Goodbye!

They dictate and you live your lives

BODIES ON BODIES

A stagnant state, a stench of hell

BODIES ON BODIES

ETC. ETC.

I don't think they are nazis, but this is inducing doubt...

Sorry to disagree...
Their are talking about nazis (seems to me agains't them) not in their favor. This verse says it all, I think.

Up for the dead
The young Nazis are bred
Rising up their dreams of hell (this is not good, this is not THE GOOD HELL we all praise)
Are waiting for you
Their words will cut you in two (Their words are wrong)

KILLING - THEY JUST KEEP KILLING (This is not Good either, thisis not a death metal band)

This is my interpretacion, only.

He probably tought it was amusing...
And I don't think there is any answer to that so I smiled too.
I Don´t know if he just find it funny, or if he doesn's agree.
I don't give a crap...

BTW, I didn't mean that your spelling is bad, because mine is too, it's just that for me to understand your posts I have to read them many times over.

On another note, I got this cd for X-mas (the reissue containing live @slims) and it absolutely blew me away! I used to have the album on mp3, thanks to Aaron, but after not so long I was left with only Phobophobia and T.D.S (Take it as You Will) I got the impression that because these two tracks I was left with were so good, the rest of the album must be fairly substandard-I was wrong. The whole ferocious pace of the album never lets up, creating a thrash mastaerpiece rivalled by few, if any, other bands. The bonus cd is great aswell, with my favourite live song being Bodies on Bodies.

Every song is great! 94/100

I'm sorry about my writing, I don't like to waste much time, normaly I only try to pass my opinion. Some times I do it at work... get it... :?

I don't have those albuns yet :( , so I can not give my opinion on them. I only gave it on the lyrics because somebody put them on the thread.

But it is good to know that about the albums.

It's not even the same category, therefore a useless comparison.
