Lately I've been planning on reading Edgar Cayce On Atlantas (purely for it's science fiction merrits of course) but with classes starting back up in a few weeks I don't know if I'm even going to bother since I'll be reading more than enough then.

I can't believe it took me this long to pick it up.. this is the kind of fantasy I like most, along with Guy Gavriel Kay.

Ha ha, no, never really saw them anywhere. If I did see them, however, and they were reasonably cheap, I'd buy them. Did you buy any?

Yeah I was collecting and trading them. But playing them was a bit lame. They were just too expensive to collect all especially with them coming out with more and more expansions so I stopped and then a year later gave my whole collection to my girlfriend so she would trade it for some expensive collectible dolls that way I at least got my money back. They were about $70 a box which I think had 36 packs 11 cards in each pack.

I just finished House of Leaves - Half awesome, half unreadable. I'm about halfway through Devil in the White City by Erik Larson, and its great so far. After that its on to Necroscope, which i've heard great things about.

now reading the bartimaeus trilogy by jonathan stroud. it's a bit unoriginal. but i'd say the great narrative and the sheer humour of it makes it worth it, for me at least. Books in english are hard to come by, here in japan (let's not begin with spanish), so I'm basically stuck with a very limited variety.

I don't really read books, the last one I read being Mists of avalon, but I read mangas. Lots of them actually. It doesn't seem like there are any fans of manga on this forum, but you never know.

This is the last manga i've read:

Now reading Bengt Ohlsson - Den där lilla stunden av närhet (Direct translate: That little moment of nearness?)

I don't generally like books but this one is pretty damn good. It's about a man who has raped three women, got caught and tries to figure out why he did it and how he can get rid of the desire to do so again. The main character is so fascinating, so extremely cynical and misanthropic.
