Awesome album.. 92 from me as I've never liked the track order or the Hendrix cover, but everything else slays indeed. Pity you couldn't get it listed as a classic really, but cool review!

Yeah this album is brilliant. Songs from the demo pop up too in an altered form. Its nice to see the continuity. Awesome awesome band.

This is one of my least favorite Coroner albums. I prefer "No More Color" and "Mental Vortex" over this one. 8)

I say it's a CLASSIC all the way.

The team didn't respond to my email, so I can't make it one.

i much prefer the later albums from No More Colour onwards. Better arrangements, better songs. And are you actually listening to the bass playing. You say unremarkable. Ron Royce used three right hand fingers in order to play many of the classical type runs still evident on PFD. he is fact a master of the three fingered right hand technique If you doubt his talents just listen to the middle break in Mistress of Deception on the No More Colour album. It would give Billy Sheehan a headache. Me thinks you know little about Coroner yourself.

Yes, I am listening to the bass playing. It's not very impressive compared to many other thrash bass players, but it makes for solid generic technicality.

I wasn't reviewing No More Color, I was reviewing PFD. No breaks of that sort on this album. And please, nothing on the bass would give Billy Sheehan a headache.

Actually, Royce is an awesome bass player, that is undeniable, not to mention the outstanding axemanship...
overall this band is extremely good.
Haven't heard this in quite a while, but it is a great album, a classic to be sure.
V.

I happen to favor the later stuff too, but this is still top-quality thrash. Coroner is easily one of my favorite bands of the genre and era.
