Lullabies To Paralyze

Fairly disappointed in this album. I just don't really like the overall sound of most of the songs (a little too dark/moody for a Queens Of The Stone Age album). Has anybody else heard it yet? If so, what are your thoughts?

I haven't heard it but I liked their previous album so I'll probably download it and give it a try. You said Dark\Moody? Well that sucks because I loved the fun factor in the other album.

I liked Songs for the Deaf alot so Im interested in listening to it but I've heard alot of negative things.

This is their best album yet, imo.

Actually, Lullabies does grow on you after a while. A lot of reviewers are right in saying you have to listen to it a couple times to really get a feel for it since it is quite a bit darker and more moody than QOTSA's previous three albums were. Though I must say, the album does drop off a bit towards the second half.

Little Sister is a crap single, imo. When Nick left, a lot of the band's greatness left with him (although his Mondo Generator is a bit disappointing).

This album sucks IMO.. Songs for the Deaf was a nice album..
