indeed Liv is hot... but she's way too tall !!!

anyway, I liked very much Aerosmith in their 70's.... Permanent Vacation & Pump are two great hair metal albums too... then, they ceased to make good albums but there's always one or two songs worth a listen...

Rocks and Get Your Wings are excellent albums, the rest of their '70s era catalogue is decent as well, they kind of slid in the '80s and totally lost it in the '90s and beyond, in my ever humble opinion of course.
Though Rocks is definitely the best... it owned in '76 (I had it brand new, and to my delicate 9 year old ears, it was the shit) and it still holds up.

I find 9 Lives to be pretty lame indeed.... as i said from Get A Grip to that average blues album they released last year, Aerosmith has become of one of those bands who merely stands on their reputation... there are still a few good songs on each album but nothing's up to their past grandeur.. sadly...

Have you seen Steve Tyler's other daughter? She's got a face like a dropped pie.

imo,9 Lives is better than everything they've done from Mirrors on.First because i like its vintage sound;second because it has more than1 or 2 great songs:Crash,The Farm,Something's Gotta Give,Taste of India,9 Lives-all killer rock n roll;Hole in my Soul-killer ballad;Ain't that a Bitch and Falling in Love -killer groove, etc

i like some aerosmiths, its the kind of stuff you can hear with non-metal people without getting booed.
especially like the song dream on, the cover by dio and yngwie is awesome

First time I saw this thread.

Anyway, Aerosmith is one of the most over rated bands on the planet.

a band's historical value is not to be questioned... it's all I had to say...

plus I'm still waiting for a PM band to release an album as vicious as Rocks but I know it's never going to happen because PM (and metal in general) has become some harmless when compared to what it was...
